Pit Bull Puppy and Man Rescued from Cliffs in La Jolla [Video]
Lifeguards reportedly issued a citation to the man for ignoring cliff warning signs.
San Diego Lifeguards rescued a man and his best friend from the cliffs near Torrey Pines on Sunday.
CBS8 reported the man was stuck in a steep gully and could not get up or down the cliffs. Lifeguards used a pulley system to rescue the man and his pit bull puppy.
Lifeguard Lt. Rich Stropy told the station the puppy was in a milk crate at the time. Both were rescued and no injuries were reported.
