New Show Follows San Diego Lifeguards

The Weather Channel's newest show will feature the beaches of San Diego, including La Jolla, and the lifeguards that protect them. It premieres Feb. 23.

The cameras are hitting La Jolla again, but this time they belong to the Weather Channel, not MTV. Oh, and they’re not following around spoiled twenty-somethings looking for their fifteen minutes of fame.

Lifeguard! premieres tonight at 6 and 9 p.m. on the Weather Channel. The series will follow the men and women in charge of keeping us safe at the beach throughout various locations in Southern California.

You’ll witness the bronzed beauties of Malibu, the fearless surfers of San Diego and everything in between. The docudrama is a half hour long and will air every Thursday evening, with each show following two different lifeguard teams at two beaches.
