Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured on Torrey Pines Road

The 25-year-old male is ejected after he loses control near UCSD.

A 25-year-old motorcyclist sustained a serious injury to his right leg after he hit the center median wall on northbound Torrey Pines Road Saturday afternoon, according to police, who didn't release the rider's name. 

The white male was traveling with two other motorcyclists around 2:30 p.m. near the UCSD campus when he lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle, according to police. He was transported to a hospital and his condition has not been released. 

The San Diego Police Department's Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
