A man with “vampire teeth” was arrested Monday morning in La Jolla after assaulting and threatening to kill another man.
The U-T San Diego reported that police responded to a shopping center on Nobel Drive near Interstate 5 at 5:45 a.m. for a report of a man who allegedly attached and threatened to kill a homeless man. The suspect was described as having “vampire teeth” and also possibly a transient, the paper reported.
The U-T said when police arrive on scene, they found a 55-year old man wounded and bleeding. He was reportedly sleeping behind a shopping center when he was attacked.
“The attacker kicked him repeatedly in the face, head and ribs while saying that he wanted to kill him," Captain Brian Ahearn said.
The suspect’s identity was not released.
