A man was rescued Sunday at the Torrey Pines Gliderport trail area, according to officials.
Lifeguards were alerted around 12:30 pm. that a 50-year-old man walked down the trail but couldn't walk back up. They rescued him and escorted him back down to the beach.
He was not injured.
