Lifeguards Rescue Kayaker in La Jolla Shores
The kayaker apparently lost consciousness.
Lifeguards rescued a kayaker Sunday after he reportedly became unconscious.
The 45-year-old male was kayaking in La Jolla Shores when he lost consciousness. Lifeguards rescued him around 2:15 p.m. and he was transported to a nearby hospital for an evaluation, according to officials.
No other information was immediately available.
