A Pacific Beach woman awoke early today to find a stranger in her bedroom, fondling her, authorities reported.
The intruder fled from the residence at Bayard and Felspar streets about 2:15 a.m. when the victim realized what was happening and screamed, according to San Diego police.
The woman described the assailant as a dark-haired, muscular, roughly 5- foot-10-inch Latino or light-skinned black man in his 20s. He was wearing dark-colored basketball-style shorts, a short-sleeve shirt and a white baseball cap.
