Gunmen Rob Taco Shop in La Jolla; Point Gun at Employee's Head

A second taco shop was robbed by a gunman in the last two weeks in La Jolla.

Two gunmen robbed a taco shop in La Jolla this morning, police said.

The suspects entered a rear door of Rigoberto's taco shop at 7345 La Jolla Blvd. (at Marine Street), pointed guns at a clerk's head and demanded cash, said San Diego police Officer Frank Cali.

They fled the same way they came, with an undisclosed sum, Cali said.

Two weeks ago, a gun-wielding man and his accomplice demanded cash from a clerk at the  Rigoberto's Taco Shop on La Jolla Boulevard near Westbourne Street.
