Daphne's Employee Stabbed, Robbed While Leaving Work

Police say two men attacked the worker, stabbing him twice and taking cash and a cell phone.

An employee of on Villa La Jolla Drive was getting into his vehicle Thursday night after his shift ended when he was stabbed and beaten by two men who robbed him of cash and his cell phone, according to San Diego police.

The 34-year-old employee was stabbed in the left shoulder and left thigh by two suspects described by police as black males, around 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, both medium build wearing dark clothing. The suspects also punched the employee twice in the face during the robbery that occurred just after 10 p.m., according to police.

The San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division is investigating the robbery. The employee’s condition was not released.
