Bird Rock CVS Robbed at Gunpoint
The CVS on the 5400 block of La Jolla Boulevard in the Bird Rock section of La Jolla was robbed for painkillers Thursday night, according to San Diego Police.
A white male in his 30s robbed the in Bird Rock Thursday evening. San Diego Police report the unidentified man entered CVS with a handgun and demanded drugs from the clerk.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene with cough syrup, Oxycontin and Percoset.
The San Diego Police said the suspect was described as being 5 foot 8 and wearing dark clothes and sunglasses.

There were no injuries reported.
