Adrenalina in Bird Rock was burglarized on Thursday morning. Co-owner Pablo Lanatta said at 5:45 a.m an unknown person(s) broke the glass window and entered the store taking $3,200 worth of merchandise.
Lanatta said the store's alarm was activated and police responded, but several cameras and boards had been stolen. The store is a longboard speciality shop.
"The police gathered all the evidence and we are hoping for any other clues from neighbors," Lanatta told Patch in an email. "We will be reinforcing security with new cameras, stronger glass or shutters to prevent them from doing this again."
Items taken from the store are two Black Edition Hero3 GoPros, four Silver Edition Hero3 GoPros, a Dragon StreetBoardz, a Cruiser Streetboardz, atreetBoardz, a Faultline Sector 9 Complete and a Dropper Sector 9 Complete.
On its Facebook page, Adrenalina said "any information on who may have done this would be a huge help."
This is the second burglary in less than 5 months. On Oct. 3, 2012, Adrenalina reported to SDPD a possible break in. A rock had been thrown into the store through the front window, according to a police report.
