A female in her 20's was struck by an SUV while riding her bicycle northbound on Girard Avenue at Pear Street in La Jolla on Monday, according to police.
The San Diego Police Department reported that a female in her 40s driving an SUV westbound on Pearl Street collided with the bicyclist when the light was flashing red at 4:49 p.m.
The bicyclist suffered an open fracture to her leg.
