A New Apple Television and Possible Features: What Would You Like?

As we all know, the Apple TV has come up in question lately and it is already here if you look at the TV industry and what Apple offers for accessories and products. Now, I just like every other Apple aficionado am excited for this release if it were to come, however if you know your electronics, most of what Apple would release with the TV is already available for purchase out there. Yes, the Siri application to the TV would be cool, however other than that, every other feature you mentioned already exists either through a wired or a wireless connection.

As we all know, Apple TV's stream your audio, video, and photo content to your TV/Stereo wirelessly. The Apple TV also accesses YouTube, MLB, NBA, Vimeo, Radio, and Netflix. One can also rent movies from their iTunes library of endless titles. There is also the ability to stream content form iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. Lets now kick it up a notch and share that the Apple TV will mirror content from your iPhone 4S or iPad 2. That's wireless meaning no wires folks (also means Siri is on your TV wirelessly). With all that and so much more with Just the Apple TV, why would you need an actual TV to store the Apple TV?

Apple builds some of the most stylish and beautiful products compared to any company. The form and the function play a big role in each other’s growth as a product. Their form is not the sole reason that the computers catch the eye, it’s their User Interface (UI). Their OSX and their iOS have proven to not only be simple and easy to use, but extremely appealing to the user. In other words, the UI for the TV will be one for the books and the design will be extremely attractive to the eye making it a product everyone will want in their home. 

With all that said, what kind of features would you like? I know this user would like to do away with the connection from my MacBook Pro to my TV, so hopefully the computer OS can be mirrored with Lion’s OSX. Maybe a cool feature would be to have quick easy access to iCloud and iTunes Match over the air and docs in the cloud. I would also like to see the Internet web browser on the TV much like Google TV has (should be on current Apple TV device) and a really cool remote to control the whole thing. Don’t get me wrong, Apple has the remote app, but I want another cool control device this time around. The final bell and whistle I would like is the ability to rip DVD’s or Blu-Rays right from the TV to ones computer while the movie is playing (meaning a built in DVD/Blu-Ray player).

I know I am excited to see what’s next with Apple, not to mention the new iPhone 5 or 4S4G or whatever they call it. Even with Steve Jobs gone, Apple is still going to be producing great products for years to come. Feel free to check out . Thanks!
