Helen Ferrara—who moved to La Jolla with her husband, Paul, in 1947 and was the mother of a local dentist—died Oct. 23, according to an obituary in U-T San Diego.
She was 94.
Barbara Baisch, a family friend, was quoted as saying: “Helen was so beautiful and loved by so many. She spent a lifetime filling our baskets with wonderful memories and her love.”
Ferrara’s survivors include a dentist son Dennis in La Jolla, three grandchildren and and four great-grandchildren, the obituary said.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Pathways Community Church, 9626 Carlton Hills Blvd., Santee.
