'The Hunger Games' Star Loves La Jolla

In a recent "Vanity Fair" article, Alexander Ludwig said he loves to vacation in La Jolla.

The Hunger Games actor Alexander Ludwig gabbed to Vanity Fair about his favorite vacation spot recently: La Jolla!

He told the magazine in a Q&A posted on March 16, that when he needs to get away, he travels to La Jolla. He said his favorite place to stay is the in La Jolla Shores.

"It is this incredible hotel that’s right on the beach. The moment you step outside, you’re in the sand and you feel like you’re away from it all," Ludwig said in Vanity Fair.

Ludwig talks about his favorite room service food (a chocolate milk shake,) surfing the Shores, tennis, playing guitar on the beach and barbecueing potluck style with friends.

He said the best kept secret on La Jolla is, "early in the morning, you can run for about five miles on the most beautiful stretch of beach in the world and not see another person."

The Vacouver native plays Cato in the The Hunger Games, which hits the silver screen on March 23. Plus, keep your eyes out for him running the beaches of La Jolla Shores.
