Weather Forecast: May 20–26

La Jolla's weather for the next week will be filled with morning and late night fog. Days will gradually clear to a high between 65 and 71.

Don't get too used to these beautiful sunny days (and morning) we've seen this past week. May Gray is back, according to the weekly forecast for La Jolla by the National Weather Service. The forecast is full of fog.

Sunday will start off the week with a high near 70 and winds around 5 mph, according to the Weather Service. Expect areas of fog after 11 p.m. and a low near 58.

  • Monday: Areas of fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. 
  • Monday Night: Areas of fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 58. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. 
  • Tuesday: Areas of fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. 
  • Tuesday Night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 58. 
  • Wednesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 66. 
  • Wednesday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 58. 
  • Thursday: Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 65. 
  • Thursday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 57. 
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66.

  • Saturday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 65.
