La Jolla Doctor Offering $1,000 Reward for Missing Pen

Phillip Low, a neuroscientist and CEO of NeuroVigil, is offering a $1,000 for a missing ballpoint pen.

A local  doctor is offering a substantial reward for a missing pen. Phillip Low, neuroscientist, founder and CEO of NeuroVigil, is offering $1,000 for a black and silver Chopard pen, according to NBC San Diego. The news station reported the pen, valued at $610, had both sentimental and historical value.

The pen was reportedly used on a document that recognizes that animals have the same ability as humans to feel pain, pleasure and love. NBC reported that Low signed the documents in the presence of Stephen Hawking.
