Photos: Santa Visits La Jolla Christmas Parade

In case you missed the La Jolla Christmas Parade on Sunday afternoon, check out the photos.

Residents of La Jolla kicked off the holiday season on Sunday afternoon with their 54th annual . The parade began at 2 p.m. and made its way down Girard and Prospect streets. Some participants included local boy scouts and girl scouts, school bands, pagent winners and Santa.

After the parade, the fun continued with the Holiday Festival and Christmas tree lighting at the . There was live music, kettle corn, bounce houses for kids, and of course, Santa stuck around to hear some Christmas wishes.

The Rec Center tree was lit around 4:30 p.m. wrapping up the day's festivities.
