Awesome Chess Camps in San Diego

What They’ll Learn: Chess is a great way for kids to work on their mental clarity and thinking process. It translates into the class room as research shows test scores improve by over 17% for students who participate in chess classes, opposed to 4% for kids who partake in alternative forms of developmental programs.

Ages: First Grade through Sixth Grade Students.
Time Commitment: Session 1 - Dates: July 8th
Time: 9AM – 10:25 AM and/or* 10:35AM – 12 PM. 
Session 2 – Dates: July 22nd
10:25AM and/or* 10:35AM – 12PM.

*Students may enroll in both time slots for $298
Cost: $149

The fee of $149 for summer chess includes:
TEN 85-minute chess classes consisting of a group lesson, playtime/tournament and 1-on1 instruction during play time.
There will be prizes passed out weekly for various accomplishments. Each student will receive at least one prize each session! The San Diego Chess Academy instructors make each class fun and interesting for all students. Classes will be divided according to skill levels to ensure more individual 
attention.
