La Jolla Photographer Stan Keiser Publishes 2013 California Wildlife Calendar with proceeds to go to Wildlife Charities

La Jolla nature photographer, Stan Keiser releases his 2013 California Wildlife Calendar to benefit the Marine Mammal Center and Skyhunter wildlife charities.

In time for the holidays, La Jolla Wildlife photographer Stan Keiser of natureandlens.com announces the release of his 2013 California Wildlife Calendar with proceeds being equally divided between two nature charities -- Marine Mammal Center and Sky Hunters.  Keiser who has amassed a stunning collection of California wildlife in their natural habitat gives us a glimpse of how animals and birds really live in nature. The calendar sells for $16.95 plus shipping on Lulu.com ( http://bit.ly/XwhzrY).

“Capturing wildlife’s activities can be challenging and time-consuming,” said Keiser. “I like to see how I can harness the natural light and watch them long enough to photograph them in action.” The twelve images feature some the best of Keiser’s recent work from thousands of images.

A self-taught photographer, Keiser spent the 1970s and 1980s concentrating on underwater photography receiving top honors for his work. He worked with many renowned authorities from international ocean experts, the Cousteau Society to San Diego’s Sea World. More recently he has refocused his work on animals and birds in California, preferring to show people the beauty of his home state rather than other locales.
