Halloween falls on a school night this year, so grab the kids in costumes, head to the village and get your trick-or-treating done right after school.
The annual “Pillage the Village” will have businesses handing out free treats along Girard Avenue.
The program started three years ago by Cups owner, Michelle Cicarelli Lerach. Cups will be handing out goodies again this year.
The La Jolla Village Merchants Association (LJVMA) and the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla will be co-sponsoring the event.
Participating stores will display a “Pillage the Village” poster on their windows. Pillaging Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 3 to 6 p.m.
