Drink Your Turkey for Thanksgiving; Wild Turkey Cocktail Recipe from Cusp

Need a drink to get through the holidays? Nate Howell, bartender at Cusp Dining & Drinks in La Jolla, has the answer—the Leftover Sour with Wild Turkey rye and cranberry cordial.

All this Thanksgiving, Black Friday and holiday traffic talk has us thirsty. Patch caught up with Nate Howell, bartender at Cusp Dining & Drinks in La Jolla, for a holiday-themed cocktail—The Leftover Sour.

The drink has a healthy pour of Wild Turkey rye, which is sweetened out with a cranberry cordial made from fresh cranberries, lemon and sugar. Add a dash of bitters, shake and voilà—your Thanksgiving just got a bit more cheerful.

We suggest getting two. The four-day weekend is going to be a long one.
