The 5th Annual Ramona Garden Tour and Plant Sale will include seven gardens, a huge plant sale and vendor booths.
Three of the gardens are located within walking distance of each other. Each has used similar elements—birdhouses, plants and art—in unique ways.
One garden features succulents and cacti, and another is green and full of repurposed items. One back yard has a park-like setting with oaks and large rock formations. To round out the unique visions of local homeowners, one garden features more than 250 roses.
The tour will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the plant sale will be held in the parking lot at Ramona Library during the same time. It is free and open to the public. The sale will feature locally grown salvias, succulents, vegetables, palm trees, kangaroo paws and more. Ramona Garden Club members will help answer any questions and there will be a raffle of a large basket filled with gardening items.
Tour tickets are $20 and will be available at and . Tickets will also be available at the plant sale on the day of the event. The tour is self-guided; a map is included with each ticket purchase.
Proceeds benefit the Ramona Garden Club Scholarship Fund and other community projects.
