While activity in the La Jolla real estate market died down somewhat compared to the previous week, things were still reasonably lively: Eight homes were sold, three of them for over $1 million. This includes two properties—a $3.56 million Mediterranean-style home in Beach Barber and a tasteful $2.8 million cottage in the Village—located just a few hundred feet from the ocean. Custom design and dramatic views of the Pacific give both residences a distinctive and inviting atmosphere.
