UC San Diego--Dinner in the Library

Dinner in the Library

The UC San Diego Library will present its annual Dinner in the Library on Thursday, September 12. All proceeds from the benefit—set in the iconic Geisel Library building at UC San Diego—will benefit the Library’s greatest needs. The event will feature guest speaker Jay Parini, an acclaimed poet, novelist, critic, and professor of English and creative writing at Middleton College in Virginia. His novel The Last Station was made into an Academy Award-nominated film starring Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer. The evening will include cocktails, dinner and a silent auction. Tickets are $225 per person. To register and learn more, visit http://libraries.ucsd.edu/about/dinner/.
