Suzie’s Farm First Annual “Dia De Los Muertos” Celebration at The Grove

Suzie’s Farm invites the San Diego

community to the inaugural “Dia De Los Muertos” celebration at its new

eucalyptus tree-framed outdoor event space-The Grove, at Suzie’s at Sunset.

Guests will exalt the endless cycle of life and death at the family-friendly

event featuring traditional Mexican dishes prepared by acclaimed local chefs, including Javier Plascencia of Tijuana’s Mision 19, Isabel Cruz of San Diego’s

Barrio Star, Andrew Spurgin and more. Craft cocktails and beverages by Alchemy

Cultural Fare will also be available. Live music by Jazz 88.3’s Latin Grooves will complete the evening’s cheerful atmosphere. An embellished altar will provide a place for guests to commemorate their precious loved ones with their own symbolic items, including photographs, flowers, toys, and food. The ticket proceeds will benefit local non-profit organizations, Kitchen Commandos and The Front Burner Fund.
