Beginning November 5 and running through December 15, La Jolla Playhouse will be presenting the musical event of the 2013/2014 Season: SIDE SHOW, helmed by Academy Award-winning director Bill Condon (DREAMGIRLS, TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN 1 & 2, THE FIFTH ESTATE)! In this production, witness the extraordinary true story of Daisy and Violet Hilton, sisters joined for life as they journey from the streets to stardom. Re-imagined by a musical theatre dream team, the girls’ quest for love and normalcy is set against the spectacle of fame and the scrutiny of the spotlight.
