The San Diego Mini Maker Faire is a one-day family-friendly event that showcases local
innovation and creativity. Part science fair, part county fair, and
part something entirely new, the Mini Maker Faire will be an all-ages gathering
that features “makers” of technology, arts, crafts, engineering, food, music, and science projects. The Faire is a great place to get involved in a hands-on exhibit, learn something new, or show off something you’ve made.
Exhibits at the Faire include robots, rocket launches, crafts, textiles, quad rotor flying machines, 3D printers, demonstrations,
performances, music, and much, much more. See Russell the Electric Giraffe
towering 17 feet above the crowd, watch the Two-Bit Circus perform, cheer on
the Frisbee-shooting robots. And you can become a maker too -- build a custom race car, make a marshmallow shooter, learn to solder, and launch your own air rocket!
