SAN DIEGO CENTER FOR CHILDREN 127th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 8

The San Diego Center for Children’s 127th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. The Center, founded in 1887, is San Diego’s oldest accredited children’s non-profit organization, offering comprehensive treatment programs for children and teens struggling with behavioral, emotional and educational challenges.

This evening will include silent and live auctions, a three course dinner, and live entertainment. The Anniversary Dinner Committee Co-Chairs are Reena and Sam Horowitz, Sally and Howard Oxley, Sally B. & John M. Thornton, Marla and Larry Black, and Elizabeth and Dene Oliver.

The theme for this grand event is “Time, Love & Tenderness” and will feature a special intimate performance by multiple Grammy Award winner, Michael Bolton.

Please RSVP for this event by March 28, 2014.  The dress for this event is cocktail attire. It is through sponsorships and the community’s generous support and participation that the Center can continue to help San Diego’s most vulnerable children heal and gain the skills and education needed to become successful adults.
