La Jolla Brewing Company/Coronado Brewing Beer Dinner

This Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 pm, La Jolla Brewing Company hosts their first-ever beer dinner featuring Coronado Brewing Company. Join Executive Chef Matt Ham from La Jolla Brewing Company and the brew masters from Coronado Brewing Company for this event. Dinner consists of five courses paired perfectly with beers from Coronado Brewing Company. For $50 per person, guests will enjoy specially planned five course dinner along with Coronado Brewing Company’s brew masters, on hand to talk about beer and answer questions. Choose Chef Matt’s bacon-wrapped medjool dates stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and served with a mixed field greens topped with blackberries, shallots, goat cheese and toasted almonds or the  grilled hangar steak with wild mushroom ragout, crispy Brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes and served with a Black Sails IPA jus. Another excellent pairing is the pan-seared Mahi Mahi with wild mushroom ragout, haricoverts, brown rice and served with mushroom jus, these dishes and beer pairings will satisfy every craft brew lover. Each course comes alongside Coronado Brewing Company favorites like the Scotch on the Rocks, Hibiscus IPA and Black Sails IPA. The beer dinner experience finishes with Coronado’s Dublin Down paired with a Chef Matt’s flourless chocolate cake topped with mixed berries, whipped cream and salted beer caramel sauce.
