Jenny Craig is synonymous with health, fitness, and self-improvement. She revolutionized the health and weight management business, and is now sharing her passion with a new generation of children. Meet Genevieve (Jenny): a spunky young girl determined to ride her horse, Candy Ride, to victory at the big horse show at the end of the summer.
I Believe in Genevieve teaches kids that a nutritious lifestyle is not only important, it’s a lot of fun! While other kids are spending their summer lounging lazily, Jenny and Trudy are creating delicious and healthy snacks, and assembling intricate obstacle courses to prepare for the show. Jenny’s “Ob-Stable Course” and Trudy’s “Good Goodies” can be found in the back of the book, so children can recreate their diet and exercise plans in their own homes.
After all the girls’ training, and Candy Ride’s new fitness routine, the girls are in top shape and Candy Ride looks like a brand new horse—full of energy with a glistening mane. Jenny competes in the race full of confidence, with the crowd chanting, “We believe in Genevieve!” Win or lose, Jenny finishes the race as the best version of herself.
