"Horses in Motion" art exhibit

This horse-themed art exhibition held at Nativa's Solana Beach store (Nativa has another location on Girard Ave.) includes more than a dozen works by 10 locally and nationally renowned artists, many who represent the local art culture in Southern California.

Exhibit artists include renowned glass sculptor, Joseph Moscoso; painter Darlene Katz; equestrian artist Donna Bernstein; painter Ritch Gaiti, a celebrated horse artist, and stainless steel sculptor, Amos Robinson, whose bike sculptures can be seen at the Boardwalk Shopping Center in Solana Beach.

Each featured piece by all 10 celebrated artists focuses on capturing the heart, soul, and ethereal nature of horses, and pays creative tribute to these gorgeous animals.

The kickoff cocktail reception is on July 19 from 4PM to 7PM. “Horses in Motion” will be presented gallery-style in the front of Nativa’s vast 7,000-square-foot Solana Beach showroom and will run from July 17 to August 30, 2014.

The event will benefit After the Finish Line with 10% of the proceeds from artwork sales going to this organization that rescues and re-trains Thoroughbreds for a second life after their racing careers are over.
