Theatergoers with a love for beer and delicious eats are invited to attend Foodie Fridays, where a ticket to select Playhouse performances also includes access to some of San Diego’s finest food trucks, plus a complimentary microbrew tasting!!!!

On Friday, February 21, grab a bite to eat before joining us in the audience for a performance of THE WHO & THE WHAT, a world premiere play by Ayad Akhtar, recipient of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama! TIME Magazine recently named this production #2 on its list of the “10 Reasons for Theater Lovers to Leave New York!” 

A DNA New Work Series workshop presentation of BLUEPRINTS TO FREEDOM: AN ODE TO BAYARD RUSTIN, by Michael Benjamin Washington and directed by Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad, will also be taking place the evening of February 21. Seats are limited, so reserve yours early!

I for one have a hard time understanding how any citizen could be promoting these food trucks. The brick and mortar business's of your community operate with all the standards put on them, pay rents taxes, ECT and support local causes. to allow this unfair practice to continue is to undermine your own town or city
