Fisher & Phillips LLP San Diego Hosts 2014 California Legislative and Benefits Update

2014 brings a number of important changes to workplace laws. Fisher & Phillips LLP is hosting a 2014 Legislative and Benefits Update on Jan. 29 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines to help business prepare for new requirements and legislation that will impact California employers this year. 

Topics to be covered include: 

Legislative Update: From additions to discrimination laws both good and bad, to increasing restrictions on social media, and new wage and hour requirements, every California employer has something to prepare for in 2014. The 2014 Legislative Update will include pertinent employment law cases and legislation that will impact California employers in the new year. 

Benefits Update - Healthcare Reform - Are You Ready? Enforcement of the Employer Mandate has been pushed back to 2015. However, the remainder of Healthcare Reform continues on with many aspects beginning to take effect in 2014. While some questions still remain, many of the details that will impact employers in 2014 and beyond have been addressed in the regulatory guidance. This program will cover the most recent guidance on Healthcare Reform and its impact on employers.
