The Evolution of Electronic Music: A Musical Journey at Andaz San Diego

Andaz San Diego’s digital music forum will return on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. with an open presentation exploring the Evolution of Electronic Music: A Musical Journey inside the hotel’s Ivy Nightclub. Presented by DJ Here Productions, this is the second installment in a series of bi-monthly digital music forums that include a panel of guest speakers discussing trending topics in the electronic music industry. These free forums are part of the esteemed Andaz Salon series of events.

January’s event will be comprised of a panel of four accomplished, local DJs courtesy of leading San Diego entertainment provider Sleeping Giant Music, including Fresh One, Mikey Beats, Slowhand and DJ Schoney. Highlights of the evening’s discussion will include how electronic music made its way into mainstream music, its biggest influencers throughout its history and the way in which this genre of beat-driven music has changed the industry.

The event will coincide with the official launch of Ivy Nightclub’s completely renovated and engaging website: www.ivyentertainmentsandiego.com.
