Community Corner

JFS Brushes + Forks

Join Emerging Leaders at JFS—San Diego’s premier network for community-minded, philanthropic young professionals—at Brushes + Forks on Thursday, December 13 at the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park. You’ll be treated to live music and delicious food and drinks at the renowned setting of the Mingei home to folk art, craft, and design from all eras and cultures of the world. Proceeds benefit the Hand Up Youth Food Pantry and Foodmobile hunger programs at Jewish Family Service of San Diego.

According to Shana Hazan, Supervisor, Youth Leadership Programs & Hunger Advocacy Network at Jewish Family Service and  Brushes + Forks Events Chair, Brushes + Forks offers a unique opportunity to enjoy an amazing evening with a fabulous group  of people while supporting an organization committed to improving our community one person at a time.
