Cecil Lytle, world-renowned pianist and UC San Diego professor emeritus of music, is set to perform the powerful chords of Beethoven to benefit the endowed Lytle Scholarship. Lytle has performed around the world, and maintains a diverse repertoire of styles—from jazz to 19th and 20th century classical piano music.
All of the proceeds from this classical musical event will contribute to scholarships for first-year students from The Preuss School UCSD—a preparatory school for low-income students who exhibit academic potential—who are attending Thurgood Marshall College at UC San Diego.
Cost: General admission $50; Students $10; Faculty and staff free.
