Dr. Lakoff, one of the country's leading political theorists on democracy and closely follows the Middle East. Please join us at our December 11, Dinner Forum to hear Sanford Lakoff, Ph.D. talk about the current events taking place in this very strategic area of the world.
Dr. Lakoff is Edward A. Dickson professor emeritus of political science at UCSD. He earned his doctorate at Harvard, where he taught in the Department of Government. He is founding chair of the Department of Political Science at UCSD and is a distinguished scholar in political philosophy and science and public policy.
He has also has written or edited twelve books and published approximately 50 scholarly articles as well as contributing to entries in the Dictionary of the History of Ideas, the Encyclopedia of Democracy, the Encyclopedia of U.S. Foreign Relations, and the Encyclopedia of Nationalism. He has also contributed to entries in the Dictionary of the History of Ideas, the Encyclopedia of Democracy, the Encyclopedia of U.S. Foreign Relations, and the Encyclopedia of Nationalism.
