An Evening With Angels Gala

Angels Foster Family Network and Event Chairs Genta and Fred Luddy will be presenting their second annual fundraising event, ‘An Evening with Angels’. The gala will take place on October 25th at 6pm at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. The evening will showcase the importance of care for children in their first years of life and how the trust, self worth, and relational skills that are developed between foster family and child facilitated by the Angels team can strengthen the future of a child who has experienced abuse, neglect, or maltreatment.

Enjoy cocktails, tastings from San Diego's premier chef's, dinner with a tasteful program, as well as silent and live auctions. The evening program includes guest speaker Laura Dern, who may be remembered by many in Jurassic Park. This Golden Globe Award winner, children's activist, and mother of two will be discussing the importance of a safe and loving environment for children at this wonderful event. Action items include trips to destinations such as Telluride Colorado, the Umbrian Countryside between Rome and Florence, Kauai, Vegas, or Chicago, tickets to an elite experience of the Chargers training day, and certificates to San Diego’s best restaurants such as Bertrand at Mister A’s, Fleming’s Steakhouse, Zenbu Sushi, and many more yet to be revealed!

All of the evening’s donations will assist the Angels Foster Family Network with its mission to place the more than 1,500 infants and toddlers that fall victim of abuse and neglect in San Diego County each year in loving homes— one family at a time.

Tickets are available for purchase via e-mail at kmartin@angelsfoster.org or online at www.angelsfoster.org for $250.00 per person or $2,000 for a table of eight. For additional information, please call 619-283-8100 ext. 227.
