3rd Annual Eat Your Heart Out Pie Eating Competition at PB Shore Club

On Monday, October 7 Pacific Beach Shore Club is pumped up pie their neighbors smack in the face. Yee-haw, this country-themed event benefits St. Andrews by-the-Sea Preschool. The Third Annual Eat Your Heart Out has been dubbed “Pies for Supplies” this year as contestants from local bars and restaurants will raise funds for necessary preschool supplies.

Join the teams from your favorite bar or restaurant starting at 7 p.m. this Monday for this ol’ fashioned pie-eating contest. Competitive eaters from San Diego’s local establishments are stuffing their faces with pies donated by Sugar & Scribe Bakery, Pacific Beach’s only local bakery. The Duck Dive, PB AleHouse, Sandbar and others will compete against one another, each bringing its own top-notch pie-eating athlete to represent at the Eat Your Heart Out event. Supporters are encouraged to cheer on a favorite bar or restaurant. DJ music from Tony A, the chance to win raffle prizes and drink specials make the 3rd Annual Eat Your Heart a can’t miss event. Proceeds from the event benefit St. Andrews by the Sea Preschool, which educates children from ages three and up with a play-based curriculum.

The 3rd Annual Eat Your Heart event is Monday, October 7 at 7 p.m. at Pacific Beach Shore Club. For more information, please call 858-272-SURF or drop by 4343 Ocean Blvd in Pacific Beach.
