Latin American and Spanish Art Collection 'From El Greco to Dalí' Quench Summer at The San Diego Museum of Art

Latin American and Spanish Art Collection 'From El Greco to Dalí' quench summer through November at The San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park.

If you are a Latin American art enthusiast, be sure to catch The San Diego Museum of Art’s new exhibit From El Greco to Dalí: Great Spanish Masters from the Pérez Simón Collection.  This unique collection can only be celebrated here this year in the U.S. at The Museum in San Diego.  Spanish art from the 16th century to the 1970s and 64 works featured from one of the world’s most treasured private collections on view now through November.

Masters of the Spanish school as El Greco, Ribera, Murillo, Goya, Sorolla, Picasso, Dalí and Miró draw you deep into their worlds.  International Spanish artists such as the Romantic Manuel Barrón y Carrillo, or the Modernist Romero de Torres, are also on display.

A highlight of the exhibit that captures the moment are six works by Salvador Dalí, among them, Ascension of Christ, and the diptych Gala’s Christ, painted for his wife and muse.
