Spreading Hoots and Shakas

With a weekend choc-full of events for the whole family the inaugural San Diego Surf Film festival is a community affair!

In a land of sea, sun and endless beaches it’s hard to believe that this year is the first ever San Diego based film festival dedicated to the sport that is so ingrained in the county's culture, but, this weekend Bird’s Surf Shed will be home to the inaugural San Diego Surf Film Festival and the producing team behind the affair are building the event with the people for the people!

With an impressive number of film submissions entered into the festival you have your pick from a whopping 13 feature films from around the world paired with 22 shorts, all carefully curated by a top notch panel.  It’s not just about the films though, it’s about bringing the San Diego community together and sharing the stoke!
