San Diego Surf Ladies to Launch TEAM SDSL

San Diego Surf Ladies launch surf team and calls for female & male competitors to represent the club!

Currently in their ninth year the San Diego Surf Ladies announced this week that they are to launch a surf team – “Team SDSL”.  As the club goes from strength to strength, gaining more exposure in the surf community and with an increasing number of members interested in competing this is an exciting step for the surf ladies.

"We are excited to start recruiting competitors for the San Diego Surf Ladies 'Team SDSL'.  As the club continues to grow in membership and contribute to the local surf community, developing a surf team is a logical next step for the club," said Michelle Ocampo, president of San Diego Surf Ladies.

Already this year, SDSL held a sold out surf film festival, provided an opportunity for club members to spend a morning with big wave surfer Gary Linden learn competitive techniques, and watched membership soar to almost 100. The club is committed to providing a platform and opportunity for female surfers in the community.
