City to Treat Stench Near La Jolla Cove Tuesday

San Diego will apply a neutralizer to rid the rocks near La Jolla Cove of bird guano (poop) on Tuesday.

La Jolla Restaurant Robbed With Handgun

• The Flame Broiler restaurant is located in The Shops at La Jolla Village Shopping Center.
  

• La Jolla's Cove, Ravina (south of Nicholson Point), South Casa Beach and Windansea at Playa Del Norte earned A+s on the annual Heal the Bay's Beach Report Card. La Jolla Shores at Avenida Del La Playa earned a B.
  

• A National Tribute to the late Sally Ride, the first American woman in space and La Jollan, was held Monday in Washington, D.C.
  

• The center is named for the late author of "2001, A Space Odyssey," whose surviving foundation is partnering with UCSD in funding the center.
  

• The Sun God Festival at UC San Diego draws thousands of students for live music and festivities.
  

• But at least we say please and thank you a lot, according to a nationwide survey.
  

• Athenaeum announces call for entries for the 22nd Annual Juried Exhibition.
