Weather Forecast for La Jolla: Sept. 19-25

The weekly forecast for La Jolla is full of fog.

La Jolla will welcome the start of Fall this week with foggy mornings and late nights, according to the National Weather Service. Afternoons will be mostly sunny, which is perfect for high school sports practices and a late afternoon surf session.

The weather should be calm for Saturday night's Members' Opening of at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla and foggy for Sunday's at La Jolla Elementary.

Daytime temperatures this week will range from a low of 70 on Sunday to the high of 74 on Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Nighttime temperatures will range from 60 to 62.

Monday Night: Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 62. North wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 73. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 61. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 62.

Thursday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 73.

Thursday Night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 61.

Friday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74.
