Video: Shark Sighting at La Jolla Cove

Two sevengill shark were sighted by divers off La Jolla Cove on July 24.

Most people would not swim after a shark. But the diver in this video followed two - a 5-foot female and an 8-foot male sevengill shark over the weekend. This two minute 45 second video filmed on Sunday off La Jolla Cove is La Jolla Patch's .

User jridg uploaded this frightening and beautiful video shot in 30 to 35 feet of water on July 24.

We hope that it tides you over until Discovery's Shark Week starts on Sunday.

Really great video Jim, Raleigh, and Dan. I've seen sharks in Maui and 5 in Oahu on a shark cage dive, but never had the nerve to swim behind them. "Extremely" cool. Kevin
