The Royal Wedding Guest List: Who Made the Cut?

The scene: a prince and his princess to-be, adorned in an extravagant gown with her sapphire engagement ring, passed down from the iconic Princess Diana of Wales, glinting extravagantly as she passes down the aisle of the Westminster Abbey, where the pews are packed with royals and celebs of all varieties. 

A fairy tale, you ask? Pretty much.

The royal wedding uniting Prince William and fiancée Kate Middleton will mark the most influential nuptials the British Monarchy has seen since the marriage of Diana to Prince Charles in 1981. Not surprisingly, the high-profile ‘I do’s’ will be witnessed by an extensive list of British and international power players. You can watch online with the official ceremony starting at 3 a.m. PST. Here is the full schedule for the day.

With invitations extended to 1,900 people, the ceremony’s guest list will boast international royalty, A-list celebrities, business moguls and all manners of powerful people with ties to the royal family. However, not everyone was lucky enough to have their presence summoned by the Queen and her stately subjects.
