Local Gas Prices Are Lowest Since Feb. 1

The average price per gallon has dropped 40.8 cents in the past three months, according to AAA.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell one-tenth of a cent today $3.886, its lowest amount since Feb. 1.

The average price has dropped 59 of the past 62 days, falling 40.8 cents over that span, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 18.3 cents lower than last month and 28.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
