United Way of San Diego County is pleased to announce the selection of Kevin Crawford to lead as president and CEO!
Crawford will assume the role in early 2014, replacing retiring President and CEO Doug Sawyer, who has held the role since 2005.
Crawford has been on the board of directors for United Way of San Diego County for five years and was chair of the education vision council. He has also led a capital campaign for Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and is a board member at several other nonprofits, including LEAD San Diego, 2-1-1 San Diego, Jammer Family Foundation and Hospice of the North Coast.
“My work as a board member and vision council chair for the past five years has prepared me to lead the organization down the path that Doug Sawyer started, leveraging community relationships to benefit the entire county in the years to come,” Crawford said.
