Cricket Empowers Fans to Select Muve Music’s Next Breakthrough Artist

Cricket recently announced that Tarvoria is the winner of its inaugural Muve First Artist Challenge. The challenge began in November and allowed fans of the Cricket Wireless Facebook page to vote for the January 2013 Muve First Artist of the Month. Tarvoria competed against the most buzzed-about Muve Music artists across the R&B and hip hop landscape, two of the hottest genres on the service, including:

• Former X-Factor finalist, Marcus Canty
• Lyricist and video game track-maker, Skyzoo
• Harvard-educated, Grammy-nominated artist, Ryan Leslie
• New Orleans rapper and scene-stealer, 3D Na’lee
• R&B phenomenon, John Hart
• R&B singer-songwriter, Tarvoria
• Radio DJ and rapper, Tax James                                                                                                                                                            

By overwhelming demand, Tarvoria will be next month’s featured Muve First artist, gaining special engagement with Muve Music users in the “Get Music” section of the service, on the Muve Music website, and through Cricket’s social media channels throughout the month.
